Obama attempt at calm?
Obama isn’t exactly inspiring confidence. Even listening to his rambling you’d think it was a middle schooler trying to convince classmates that he’s the right man for class presidency, complete with plenty of “ums and uhs” to fully sell his commitment. Middle school students basically just wanted free stuff so maybe that’s his target audience, or democrats. Although, we’re sure there’s an army of unicorns just around the corner that Obama’s preparing to unleash on the unsuspecting bad-guys-with-good-media-skills ISIS.

That cartoon was exceptionally stupid and inconsistent with a thing called ‘reality’. “Free stuff”, incorrectly alludes to the perception that democrats all want ‘free stuff’ and other entitlement programs. I’ve got to advise folks who are inclined to believe that kind of garbage, that in reality, that is just not the case. Democrats just want one thing ‘for free’. That single thing, is the opportunity to earn a ‘living wage’. It is the Tea Party republicans who generate the on-going need for entitlement programs. It is republicans who reject the President’s jobs programs. It is republicans who refuse to legislate a genuine living wage for every able-bodied American worker. Republicans feel that massive segments of the population should be working for less than $10.00 per hour. Ten dollars per hour, is nowhere near ‘a living wage’. Thirty-dollars per hour is in the ballpark of a genuine living wage. People who work, but who are still unable to extract a living wage, are entitled to have their needs provided in other ways. These folks are being compensated for the monies they should have earned when they worked. Republicans allow multi-millionaires and billionaires to extract an excessive percentage in profits, for every dollar earned, creating the need for this “free stuff”, to the people who are under-paid. You stop under-paying people and the so-called ‘free stuff’ would almost evaporate. Free stuff, would lose its appeal, because people would make more money working, than they would waiting to be approved for ‘free stuff’ at an impoverished rate of income. Those guys are wealthy, primarily because they specialize in underpaying vast numbers of the population and they control those republicans who allow it. Strategic, pre-meditated, intentional under-payment of large numbers of the population, is tantamount to slavery. Perhaps these large companies need to be broken-up, if they fail to pay a living wage adjusted for inflation. If they can, but won’t do that, then they shouldn’t be in business at all.

What about that cartoon wasn’t part of “reality”? That was actually a direct quote from Obama. Exact. Word-for-word. Doesn’t get any more real than that. And that is frightening.
